Trump allegedly laughed after Schiller told him about what happened
Former security chief adviser, Keith Schiller, told Congressional investigators earlier this week that he rejected a Russian’s offer to send five women to Trump’s hotel during his visit to Moscow in 2013.
On Tuesday, Schiller disclosed to the House of Intelligence Committee that a man who appeared to be either Russian or Ukrainian approached the former security chief and offered to provide prostitutes to now President Donald Trump.
The offer allegedly came while Trump was at a meeting for the annual Miss Universe pageant. The event was produced by a company that Trump owned. According to Schiller’s testimony, the foreigner accompanied Russian pop star, Emin Agalarov, and, his father Aras Algarov.
Schiller stated he took his offer as a joke. He would later tell Trump about the event at the end of the day to which the mogul laughed.
„Can you believe one of these guys wanted to send some women up to your room?”Schiller reminisced at the committee.
An attorney representing the Algarovs, however, denies the two having witnessed the offer.
The 2013 trip to Moscow is on a lot of people’s radars since last year. It is among the factors that led to Schiller’s being summoned before the House of Intelligence Committee. There are reports of an extensive dossier compiled by British spy, Christopher Steele, that would incriminate the now president. There’s supposed to be compromising facts and rumors about the President in it. The most talked about piece of the dossier which links Schiller’s testimony is the infamous „pee tape”. The document alleges that Trump asked the prostitutes to pee on him, a claim the president denied numerous times.
Schiller has a long and close relationship with Trump, something that makes him a valuable witness in Rober Mueller’s investigation. The man went on to become Trump’s director of Oval Office Operations a position he occupied until September.
