The Google Wallet app is now offered to users on other operating systems than Android. The company has revealed that the new edition of its app for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. The goal of the Wallet application is to allow customers to give and demand money. For instance, the organization is advertising it as an easier way to divide expenses or other costs with friends by quickly seeing the amount that every person owes. This edition of the iOS application needs iOS 7.0 or newer and is suitable for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
Google has revived its mobile payment projects lately with the release of Android Pay, a service that allows users with devices operating Android OS 4.4 and later to make their payments in shop and in-app by using a smart phone. Formerly, this was one of the functions offered by Google Wallet.
The Android Pay app is also where commitment and gift certificates are now saved. Until now, all of them were stored in the previous edition of Google Wallet. The new Android edition of the Wallet app was released only a few days ago. That release means that the application is going against tough opponents, like the Square, while the Android Pay will try to match the famous Apple Pay, which probably the top smart phone transaction provided right now.
Even if cellular costs are something that all smart phone creators are really eager to invest into, but it is still not very clear whether customers are considering pay-by-smart phone to be truly better than a lower-tech solution of cash and bank credit cards. The new NFC technology that is increasingly integrated into the newer generation of smart phones will allow more and more users to make direct payments from their mobile devices.
Recently, Google released the Android Pay in a brave strategy move that converted the company’s current Wallet application into peer-to-peer expenses support. This new app was launched on the Android operating system with the new payment support being released on Sept 10, while the service has also arrived on iOS this week.
The new Wallet for iOS application has been absolutely renewed with its concentration on the customers’ needs. With PayPal’s top Pay.me support, Facebook, Square Cash or even Snapchat, competitors are strong and there are a lot of organizations in all peer-to-peer transaction areas already. A more significant aspect of the Google Wallet is the advantage that allows clients to send various amounts of money anywhere in the United States using only a current e-mail address, while the individuals do not even have or to use a Wallet support themselves.
Customers can purchase their own Google Wallet Card from within the application on their cell phone. The advantage of this method is that it permits them to invest the debit of their bank account in shops, or they can take it out from ATMs. The other substitute is cashing out their money in their bank account to charge debit cards or other accounts that are connected to the current account.
