Do you have something more you want to share with your friends and family? Say no more, because Facebook has got you covered. In a recent statement, Facebook said that one of the most popular services will become available to Android users. Facebook Live will be available on Android devices starting next week.
What more can you do in order to spruce up your Facebook profile? How about a live feed directly from your Android-ready and able phone? Yes, you read it right. Starting next week, Facebook will roll out the live feed feature for all Android users.
This means that all of you who possess an Android phone will not be able to add a live feed in addition to a written post. Having a great time with your significant other? Then why not use the feature in order to show your friends and family how happy you are how great the place is.
Have some thoughts to share regarding an event? Nothing is simpler. Just fire up the Facebook application and start talking. It’s easier this way to express your opinion towards an event or person, than using a written post.
And here’s an extra something: you can make your live tweet as long or as short as you would like them to be. Moreover, you can record your live tweet in 1080p.
In order to be able to access this new function on your smartphone, take a closer look at “What’s on your mind?” toolbar. In the upper right corner, you will see an icon called “Live Feed”. Tap on it, and you will be able to start your live recording. Once you’re finished with your soliloquy, you can tap on end and the feed will automatically be posted on your timeline.
Unfortunately, upon launch, this option will only be available in the United States, but Facebook promised that it is currently working on making the features available in all countries.
The live feed service went live back in December but only targeted the iOS handsets. The service was made available to a few Facebook users and to a couple of celebrities. But it seems that Facebook plans on taking this hype to a whole new level.
Facebook Live will be available on Android devices starting next week. Naturally, everybody is going nuts over the possibility of posting something new on their timeline. As far as Facebook posts go, you will be able to add a little lilt and panache to your everyday mood status.
We are eagerly waiting so see how the service will fare on Android devices.
