Former Vice President Joe Biden hinted that he is ready to jump back into the ring and run for president in 2020. But apparently, there is one condition: He’ll run if he can take on Trump.
Biden apparently told a small group of donors that he would run in 2020 if he can go toe to toe with the president. The main reason seems to be the relatively small age difference between the two men, according to Fox Business.
Biden made these comments in a private meeting with possible Democratic contributors, many of them Wall Street executives with strong ties to the former vice president.
Charles Gasparino recently tweeted: “#BreakingNews — @JoeBiden telling Wall Street contributors he is seriously considering running for prez in 2020 but only if @realDonaldTrump seeks a second term because age wont be an issue MORE NOW @FoxBusiness @TeamCavuto”

Biden and Trump have already begun sparring. Weeks ago, the former vice president made an off-the-cuff remark about how he would “beat the crap out” of the president if they were still in high school. Trump, who prides himself as a counter-puncher, shot back with a tweet saying that Biden should watch his mouth and that he would fall fast and hard.
Biden had to apologize after the statement. Was that the end of round one?
