Facebook will excite its users with a brand new Messenger camera full of artsy filters, just in time for the holidays.
Facebook is always busy creating new features to the delight of its users and remaining ahead of the game. It’s not an easy mission, but the staff always manages to turn the platform into an even more intuitive social media channel. Facebook representatives have already announced the latest upgrades. This time, the team has focused on rethinking the Messenger camera feature. Consequently, they appealed to artsy filters. The new camera improvement can be seen as similar to SnapChat. Facebook fans have to wait and see how the two features will differ from one another.
The company stated in a blog post that their platform is daily witnessing a massive exchange of visual messages. There are more than 2.5 billion emojis, stickers, photos, and videos that are used to communicate on Facebook on a daily basis. The company saw the camera to be the natural next step in the development of their Messenger application.
Facebook will expect the new process of taking photos to replace the old time-consuming keyboard. More and more people are turning to Messenger app as a useful tool for their daily communication. Consequently, the centerpiece of the app, which is the camera, will become simpler, faster, and with more fun options to reimagine their photos.
Facebook users won’t have to wait so long for Facebook to prepare their personal pics. They will enjoy a faster speed, so they won’t fail to capture their special moments anymore. Much of the small, happy events are spontaneous, so the gadgets that improve the experience have to keep up the pace.
There are a large plethora of artsy filters, from 3D masks to special effects. The designs will be full screen and will be able to seamlessly incorporate in any picture as if it were in real life. The company didn’t give an exact number, but it announced that there are going to be thousands of stickers, frames, and other artsy filters to the Messenger app.
With the new update, users no longer have to pick a thread to take a photo. They can snap one independently and then select the recipients. Furthermore, the app will propose you some artwork suggestions based on the text you write for your image. Plus, Facebook has just introduced “Camera Effects Platform” which is a feature that gives users the freedom to design a frame to their own liking even for their videos.
