Amazon unlimited music streaming could motivate Amazon to develop a new type of music player.
Amazon unlimited music streaming is coming sooner than expected. Current plans have the service being exclusively available to Amazon Echo users and talks have the Amazon unlimited music streaming priced at $5.
Amazon is a media titan due to their brilliant strategy of creating amazing quality devices and pairing them up with near flawless services for them. The music industry will no longer be an exception starting September 2016.
Previous announcements and statements from the company had users in the know that an Amazon unlimited music streaming service was in the works. Initial talks had the service priced closer to $10, similar to rival already existing services such as Pandora or Spotify.
Nevertheless, the new idea from Amazon is to pair their music streaming with their very own products. Amazon Echo, Amazon Tap, and Amazon Echo Dot will all be compatible devices.
Amazon Unlimited Music Streaming – Is It Worth It?
Users now find themselves in a predicament. Amazon has a reputation of managing services with excellent quality. An ad-free music streaming experience from Amazon sounds awesome, even in concept. Taking that concept, making it a reality and making it available for half the price of its competitors sound even better.
However, what happens when a user wants to enjoy the Amazon unlimited music streaming experience but on a device they already own? That option is now off the table. Amazon did not create the first e-reader but Kindle is now one of the most popular products in the line.
The company intends to do the same with the Amazon Echo line of products. With the service possibly being launched as early as next month, users will soon have to make a decision.
Amazon Echo is not a bad product. However, it is not the first product users have in mind when they think about music.
Once critics give out their initial reviews of the music streaming service, user mentality is very likely to change. The holiday seasons are approaching, giving an extra incentive to users to also consider the Amazon Echo products line.
