As the United States is shifting into the poll mode, former Alaska GOP Governor Sarah Palin has expressed her “serious interest” in running for the presidential election in 2016.
The 50-year-old leader made the comments over her poll ambitions ahead of Saturday’s Iowa Freedom Summit, which is the first major conservative gathering of potential GOP candidates for presidential elections in 2016.
Palin, who was a perennial potential candidate and a former vice presidential nominee, told the reporters that she is ‘seriously interested’ in running the elections.
She has spoke about her presidential ambitions on several occasions in the past.
Palin had first revealed her mind to ABC news on Thursday while serving wild boar chili to the homeless people in Las Vegas.
“Of course, when you have a servant’s heart, when you know that there is opportunity to do all you can to put yourself forward in the name of offering service… anybody would be interested,” Palin said.
Revealing her feelings again on Friday to The Washington Post, she said, “You can absolutely say that I am seriously interested. … As I said yesterday, I’m really interested in the opportunity to serve at some point.”
Even though Palin has expressed her willingness to contest elections, but how much she is serious this time remains unclear. This is all because of Palin’s creepy ability to keep the media and the America’s gossip mongers interested in her every public action.
