It was a completely different scene in Kansas when a plane plowed into the top of the flight safety center of the airport irony of sorts. The collision was lethal, which killed at least four people if not more, injuring 5 and leaving 4 missing from the scene. The flight is, the question is twin-engine Beechcraft King Air, which reported trouble after it took off from the Mid-Continent airport in Wichita at around 10:00 am ET. In its tussle to return safely to the runway it hit the 2-story flight safety center as reported by the Federal Aviation Administration.
The fumes generated by the crash were visible from miles. As per said by Wichita Fire Chief Ron Blackwell only person present in the flight was the pilot flying the aircraft where as in the flight safety building there were at least 100 individuals at the time of the crash as per Airport spokeswoman Valerie Wise. Brad Crisp, the Wichita Fire Department Fire Marshal confirmed the figure, saying 4 people are dead, 5 injured and 4 are missing due to the crash.
Due to the collapse of building the search of missing person was halted temporarily. The National Transportation Safety Board was notified of the crash and FAA investigators came to the scene to investigate.
