Windows 10 build 15002 was released on December 7, but the developers put the work on hold to wait for winter holidays to pass. Now that the gift-buying frenzy is over, Microsoft has our full attention. After an entire month of silence, there are fresh Windows 10 updates that got disclosed before the Creators Update. The new wave of improvements includes many changes of what we were familiar with before as well as fresh features.
Over the weekend, Microsoft published the new build to its servers. Thus, several people got their hands now on the latest version of Microsoft 10. This time, the update regards PC users solely, while mobile platform is left behind.
There are two apps that received almost all the attention of developers, namely Edge and Settings. A new preview bar redefines the utility of Edge with looks that resemble that of Windows 8 Metro Internet Explorer. Thanks to this feature, you can preview all your open tabs in a scrolling list. This comes in handy when you can’t find exactly what you want in your present tabs.
Tab managing is also enhanced with a set-aside feature. From now on, you will have no more chance of losing a favorite website. You can reopen the closed tabs later. Thus, the users that need a large array of web pages to get their personal or professional work done will no longer be annoyed by chaotic browser workspace. Edge will also come with InPrivate tabs that open directly, the click-to-run default for Flash, and Microsoft Wallet where most of your payment details are stored for easy on-line shopping.
As for Settings, the new build is packed with useful features. For instance, connection devices such as Bluetooth received their own personal space instead of looking for them in different locations. Moreover, Windows 10 lets you change the resolution more easily without a visit to the Advanced page. It will also ensure you a better sleep as you can activate the blue light reduction that eliminates the disruptive screen lights. Moreover, Windows 10 testers will receive a Green Screen of Death. The color change from blue to green might be a method to distinguish troubleshoots between testers and users.
After a month of silence, fresh Windows 10 build comes with other small but useful improvements. Users can now put updates on hold for up to 35 days. The Start menu accepts folders for tiles, exactly like in the mobile version. There are also many other updates on their way with a big focus on incorporating Cortana into the system even better.
