In a latest revelation in the shooting incident at the Florida State University campus, the police officials on Friday said that the young gunman who had shot three people had lodged complain with the New Mexico authorities that the cameras were keeping a close watch at him.
Myron May, who passed graduation in 2005 from Florida, returned to his school this week and carried the ill-fated shooting incident.
The police officials said that he was accused of shooting three students before being fatally shot.
According to the reports, the shooter had complained about being spied by someone and also heard some voices talking about him after which he decided to start shooting.
May had walked into the Las Cruces Police Department in September this year to file complaint over his suspicions on the CCTV cameras installed in his apartment and some voices that he had heard mentioning about him and laughing at him.
“Did you see that? He never puts lotion on,” these were some of the strange conversations May heard in his context.
According to the police, they responded shortly after his shooting spree at the University campus, where a semiautomatic pistol was used by him to attack students and a librarian in the library.
The authorities believed that May must have thought that he was being targeted by the government.
The three victims who got injured during the incident were 18-year-old Elijah Velez, 21-year-old Farhan Ahmed and 30-year-old library employee Nathan Scott.
