Destiny 2 is already up and running on consoles for two months now. However, PC users have to wait one more week to get their hands on the most awaited shooter of the year. Developer Bungie made them feel even more restless with a new trailer released just a week before the official launch. The 2:11-minute video perfectly exposes the jaw-dropping, uncapped 4K graphics.
The Main Difference Between Console and PC Versions Will Be the Uncapped 4K Graphics
Bungie reassured its community of players that the upcoming releease won’t hold nothing back.PC version of Destiny 2 is going to offer as many goodies as there are on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
However, the developer couldn’t refrain itself from taking advantage of the beefy capacity of modern PCs. Therefore, there will be a significant difference between the two platforms surrounding the visual experience.
In the end, Bungie elevated the stakes with uncapped frame rates, anti-aliasing, high dynamic range (HRD) colors, higher draw distance, top-notch lighting, native support for 4K resolution, and customization of reticle.
The developer was able to pull this off by rebuilding Destiny 2 from scratch. Instead of porting files from console versions to PC, the entire production was recreated to fit PC requirements perfectly.
PC Users Will Be Able to Install Destiny 2 Next Tuesday
As a result, enthusiasts of the gaming world will be able to enjoy exclusive features as long as their systems can deliver. Nowadays, hardware manufacturers are ahead of the gaming world with features that most titles cannot accommodate. Therefore, Destiny 2 will be among the first video games that can take advantage of all the latest visual innovations.
The launch trailer appeared on Tuesday. This piece of content brought nothing new regarding the story.
However, it can be seen as an official testimony that reveals how players will experience Destiny 2 on PC. On top of that, the sequel focused more on all the strong points critics highlighted in reviews since the production was launched on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Therefore, PC users will finally gain access to this coveted title next week on Tuesday. Destiny 2 will appear on Blizzard Battle.net exclusively.
