4 Year Old Boy And His Dog Rescued From Well

Gabe Allbritton, a 4 year old boy was heroically rescued after falling down a 23 foot deep well and there are many heroes to this amazing story.

It seems that little Gabe went looking for his beloved dog, which had been missing for a week and when he finally heard the dog barking from inside the deep well, the little boy wanted to lend him a hand. And as Gabe tried and tried to reach the dog, he ended up falling in himself.

Fortunately, this story has a very happy ending, because both little Gabe and his furry friend were rescued in time and they are both safe and sound at the moment.

But the team from the Lincoln County Emergency Management Agency and from the Hog Chain Volunteer Fire Department that came to help had their work cut out for them, as the hole of the well was only 18 inches wide, the well itself was very deep and the light was quickly running out, because it was already pretty late when Gabe’s grandmother finally realized where the boy could be.

Then, as the rescue team tried to hoist young Gabe up by sending a rope down where he could reach it, matters became even more complicated because the little boy couldn’t manage to lift himself up out of the well.

And so, they had to find a solution that would be fit for a 4 year old. Luckily, the rescue team had the perfect solution and they sent a rope-made seat down the well, that Gabe was able to hold on to and allowed the team to finally get him out.

Everybody was thrilled to have been able to save sweet little Gabe and his grandmother was extremely relieved that her beloved grandson made it out alive from this horrible ordeal.

But the rescue team had one more soul to save, and so, they tried to get Gabe’s dog out as well, which also proved to be quite complicated. Finally, they managed to get the dog by using a rope loop and they pulled him out quickly.

At the end of the day, Gabe was taken out safe and sound and he was reunited with his beloved puppy. And he was also promised a ride in the fire truck, which definitely made the boy extremely happy.
